Thus, the photography revolves around light as there cannot be any photographs without light. Photography is an art to handle and balance the light.
The light passes through the object to the lens in order to reach the sensor. There are various shaped crystal pieces attached to the camera called as lens and once the light reaches the sensor the photo can be clicked. The aperture, which is attached inside the lens, is meant to control the lighting effect. There are shutters which is found mainly in the modern cameras is attached internally to the body of the camera. Shutter controls the exposure of sensor to the light. Sensor is a thin and sensitive plate which absorbs the light and transforms it into pixels. When the sensor clicks the object, the picture is clicked upside down and then it get stored in the camera. The sensor works in the same way as human eye works.
As said earlier, the aperture is fixed inside the lens in order to control the passing of the light making its way through the lens and then reaches the sensor. The effect of aperture on the photos is one of the important aspects that must be known while learning the photography basics. Aperture not only affects the quantity of the light but also the depth, the speed of the lens and sharpness. The diameter of the aperture is measured in f-numbers having common notation for example: f/5.5. There are various scales and f-numbers that are very useful in photography. Shutter plays a very important role in clicking photos. Slow speed of the shutter helps in clicking moving thing that is in motion and fast speed of the shutter helps in clicking the freezed photo of a moving thing.
